What are Cookies and how do we use them?

The Emporium web site uses cookies to keep track of information such as what items and quantities you have added to your shopping cart, or a brief history of products you have browsed to allow quick links back to these products for you. We do not store credit card information or any other personally identifiable information in cookies.

We do use cookies to track users behaviour in order to analyse how our site is being used and to improve the overall service our site provides. However this information is not personal to the user and is in no way identifiable to any given user.

The Emporium site, like many, requires cookies to be enabled in order for the website to function properly. You should still be able to browse the website should you choose to turn cookies off, however you will not be able to add items to the shopping cart or proceed to the checkout.
